Synchronicity

I've been holding off writing about this till the final pieces of the puzzle fell into place . . . which just happened.

Aley and I learned on the Summer Solstice that the "energies" were most favorable for manifesting.  So, during a short trip we were taking that day I made a proposal.  I wanted to do an experiment.  I asked Aley to come up with a simple manifestation, something that usually doesn't occur, but was well within probability such that when it came about we would know beyond any doubt we made it happen.

She thought about this for several moments then said she'd work on something.  We continued our trip and just before we headed back home she excitedly stated she'd come up with something.

We've been wanting to get back out west almost from the time we left.  Nothing thus far had worked, but we continued to watch and wait.  So, Aley came up with a two-pronged manifestation for the Solstice.  She said, first of all, that we wanted to manifest her niece to call her from Nevada.  The two of them are very dear friends, but she very rarely calls.  And second, we wanted an indication of "where" we were to go in the west.  After all, it's very large.  There were many options.  We like Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, California . . . a huge area.

I immediately liked this.  Tis true, our niece so rarely contacts us that if we were to give intent for her to do so and she called in a reasonable time, we would know we were successful.  And pinning down a "place" in the west for us to go didn't seem out of the question.  So that night we had a very simple ceremony and offered both of these to the Universe.

It was less than 72 hours when we received the call.  Our niece was quite excited.  She exclaimed, "Uncle, Aunt . . . pack your bags!  We're moving to Washington, you're coming with us and we won't take 'no' for an answer!"  That's a direct quote because I'll never forget this.  I then gave the phone to Aley to complete the conversation, as the call was really for her.

We were both in awe.

Okay, so we manifested a call and we had a "place".  Next, we waited.  We wanted to leave by the end of December, but this wasn't written in stone.  We were in no hurry.  At first it appeared this was feasible, then it looked like we wouldn't be able to move till the end of Spring.  But it didn't matter "when".  We were just thrilled to know the Universe was working for us and we had no doubts whatsoever this was going to manifest at some point.

Move ahead from late June to late September, three months later.  Ricky (YoungHawk) was visiting us from Mississippi.  As usual, when we have out-of-state guests we always take them to tour Salem, Massachusetts, where the witch trials took place and is filled with history.  Ricky stopped at an information place and had picked up several brochures about Salem and as we were waiting for our lunch to arrive he looked through them.  He excitedly handed me one stating he wanted to go there.  It was a place that took aura photographs and he went on to state that he'd never had one and always wanted to have it done.  Well, of course we can go there, I answered back, and I would get one myself because it's been years since I'd had this done.

So we finished eating, pooped around Salem some more, then headed toward the shop.  It just so happened that the person who takes these photographs was supposed to be out that day, but just happened to be there, so we were able to get this done.  Ricky had his taken first and when he was done it was my turn.  I'm indigo, by the way.  News to me!!!

When we were done and I stood up to leave, the woman taking the photograph became excited.  "You're working on something . . . something big!" she exclaimed.  We were done, or at least I thought we were done, so I was thinking about leaving and getting on the road because we still had to drive to Maine.  No, I stated absently, we're not working on anything.  "Yes, you are!" she retorted, with even more emphasis than before.  "It's huge!" 

I had no idea what she was talking about and I'm still trying to leave the shop, but she wouldn't relent.  Finally, I stopped to ponder what she could be talking about.  That's when it came to me.  "We've been wanting to move out west," I stated.

"THAT'S IT!!!" she almost shouted.  "It will happen . . . and when it does, it'll be very fast.  And the best thing you can do to help will be to just get out of the way.  This will happen."

She was so forceful and so insistent I was shocked.  It wasn't till we got back to the car that I read the business card she had attached to my photograph when I learned she was the resident psychic.  I had no clue.

Move forward less than two weeks to early October.  I get up one morning and Aley acts quite demure stating she needs to tell me something, but is hesitant.  You see, one of the things I've wanted for quite a number of years is my own chiropractic office.  We've been working toward this . . . but nothing worked out.  I've been disappointed so many times.  She was holding back, not wanting to get my hopes up, only to be disappointed yet again.  But she had to tell me what she'd done.

She went to a web site, one I'd never visited, and found a practice for sale, in Washington state, that sounded promising.  She wrote to the doctor, and he wrote back.  Yes, the practice was still for sale.  The price was reasonable.  The terms negotiable and within our means. 

I remembered what the psychic told me.  "Get out of the way," she said.  So, I told Aley this was her baby and she was to negotiate this deal.  I was staying clear. 

That moment initiated a period of intense activity . . . negotiating, applying for a license, travel plans, pulling the necessary funds together, reservations, researching business-related necessities such as credit card processing, electronic claims, insurance . . . not to mention packing, finding a place to donate the furniture we didn't want to take with us . . . and a whole host of other usual and customary tasks needed when one moves.

Add to this the fact that we thought we had till November 30th to get all this together.  But NO!!!  In the middle of all this, we learned we needed to be there by November 23rd, a full week before we thought we'd need to be there!  Wow!

The ride has been exciting, nerve-wracking, exhilarating, tense, joyful.  It has, in the end, fallen into place exactly as the psychic told me it would . . . with lightening-fast speed . . . such that we found ourselves overwhelmed at times with all that needed to be done in such a short period of time.

The final "domino" fell into place today, the disbursement of funds needed to make this all happen.  Making this happen has been akin to playing a game of chess and dominoes . . . both at the same time.  There were some stressful moments, waiting to hear whether I'd qualify for a license.  I did, on paper.  But if an "i" wasn't dotted or a "t" crossed, it wouldn't happen.  Everything hinged on this happening first, then we could follow through with the rest.  So we planned, researched, packed, and waited for word from the State of Washington about the license, which finally came through.

We're going to Washington.  I have a practice.  All this fell together in record time. 

This is a dream come true . . . for both of us.  We wanted to move west.  And I wanted a practice of my own.  I was willing to move without practicing again, if the opportunity arose.  But this is perfect.

I'm relaying all this because others may learn from our experiences.

•   Dreams can and do come true.

•   The Universe works on its own time-frame, which is not the same as ours.

•   "Forcing" something to happen has never served us.  "Giving intent" then being patient while watching for synchronicities to manifest does work.

We leave New England in a few days, traveling over 3,000 miles.  We depart with mixed feelings of joy and trepidation.  But of one thing we have no doubt . . . this was meant to be.  This is where we need to be.

We are humbled and ever grateful . . .
